Privacy

The short version: your bank statement is never sent anywhere.

Your statement

When you select a PDF, it is read by JavaScript running inside your own browser. It is not uploaded, not transmitted, and not stored. This site has no endpoint capable of receiving it. Once you close or reload the page, the extracted data is gone from memory.

You can verify this: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and convert a statement. You will see no request carrying your file.

What is stored on your device

Your page-credit balance is held against a random key stored in your browser's local storage. The key contains no personal or financial information — it is not derived from you or from any statement, and it is the only identifier this site holds. There are no accounts, so there is no name, email or password to store.

The credit ledger records how many credits were bought or spent and when. Each conversion is logged against a random reference generated in your browser; it is never derived from the statement, so the log reveals nothing about the document you converted.

Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never seen by this site. Stripe processes your email address and payment details as the payment processor — see Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Analytics

This site runs no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies beyond the licence key described above.
