Convert a Revolut PDF statement to QuickBooks

Drop your Revolut PDF below and get the three-column CSV layout QuickBooks accepts for a manual bank upload — date, description and a single signed amount. Your statement never leaves your computer.

Revolut is one of only two layouts checked against a real statement rather than a synthetic test file — see the notes below for what that covered.

or choose a file — nothing is uploaded

What you get

The download is a .csv file with these columns, in this order:

  1. Date
  2. Description
  3. Amount

Worth knowing. This is a CSV, not a .qbo Web Connect file. QuickBooks accepts both for a manual upload, but they are different things — choose the CSV option on the upload screen, not the Web Connect one.

How to download your Revolut statement as a PDF

  1. Open the Revolut app and go to your account.
  2. Select statements.
  3. Choose the date range and the PDF format.
  4. Save or share the file.

Banking apps rename their menus from time to time, so the exact wording may differ slightly. You are looking for the original PDF statement rather than a printout or a screenshot — a printed copy sometimes loses the table structure the converter reads.

How to import it into QuickBooks

  1. In QuickBooks, go to the banking or transactions area.
  2. Choose the option to upload transactions from a file rather than linking a bank.
  3. Select the downloaded CSV and pick the account it belongs to.
  4. Confirm the three columns are read as Date, Description and Amount.
  5. Finish the import and categorise the transactions.

Accounting packages move their menus around between releases, so these are written to describe what you are looking for rather than an exact path.

Notes for Revolut statements

Revolut offers both PDF and Excel statement downloads — if you can pick Excel, that is quicker. This is one of only two layouts checked against a real statement: a 10-page file of 101 transactions, every printed balance reconciling exactly. Revolut prints an exchange-rate line beneath foreign transactions, and those are recognised as notes rather than counted as a second payment.

Why the conversion happens in your browser

A bank statement lists your income, your address, your spending and your account number. Most converters ask you to upload that to their servers and keep it there. This one reads the file locally instead, so there is no copy of your statement anywhere but your own machine — and nothing that can be breached later.

Common questions

Can I get a .qbo file instead?

No — this tool writes CSV, not QBO. QuickBooks accepts a three-column CSV for manual bank uploads, which is what you get here, and it is the route that does not require your bank to support Web Connect.

Why is there only one amount column?

QuickBooks' three-column layout expects a single signed amount, so money out is written as a negative number and money in as a positive one.

Is my Revolut statement uploaded to convert it?

No. The PDF is read by JavaScript running in your own browser, and there is no endpoint on this site that can receive it. You can watch your browser's network tab while it converts and see that nothing carrying the file leaves.

How do I know the figures are right before I import them?

Where your Revolut statement prints a running balance, every amount is re-checked against it and you are told how many rows that covered. Anything that could not be read safely is listed separately and left out of the file rather than guessed at. Check both before importing into QuickBooks.

What does it cost?

One page credit converts one page, and five are free on your first visit. If a statement is longer than your balance covers, the opening pages convert free as a preview so you can see whether it reads your layout before paying. Nothing is charged when a conversion fails.
